07/30/09 Got My Very Own Office Today

So as we are all aware my blog is "My Snap Today." When I started it I wanted to commit to posting at least one picture or comment every single day. I was doing great and kept up until I started the new job. Things at work have been eventful to say the least. Today I officially moved into my new office and definitely thought it was blog worthy! I feel all kinds of legit now.

07/23/09 This College Grad Got a Job Today!

Yup! You heard right, the Sanctuary Day Spa and Salon offered me the Management position today. Ironic that this April 2009 graduation picture was taken at the Gateway mall and right next to the Sanctuary Salon. Little did I know that just three short months later this would be the exact location of my future employer. Strange how things sometimes come together! I am so nervous, but definitely excited and ready for this change.

07/22/09 Wednesday's FREEBIES

So I decided today that I am definitely a fan of ARBY's new ad campaign. It's called Wednesday's Freebies. Every single Wednesday they have a featured item on their menu and it is FREE. Today's item was their new Roast Burger. Not sure I ever would have bought one before, but not going to lie, I was impressed! Probably just because it was free tho...Haha! Be sure to take advantage of next Wednesday.

07/21/09 Time to Find a Job

This has been my week to focus in on finding the job and work that I want to do. I thought about two of my passions (1) Shopping/Business of Retail and (2) The Beauty Industry/Life in a Salon. I drove down to the mall and dropped two resumes off. The first at FOREVER21 (retail clothing outlet) and the second at SANCTUARY SALON AND SPA. On the spot, both places were able to sit down and interview me then and there. Chats went exceedingly well with the potential employers. Each said that I would be notified of a position opening within the week. My fingers are crossed!

Check out my new kicks! A nice low heel pointy toe shoe that will be great for working long hours on my feet. They are Nordstroms thus: good quality but unfortunatley expensive. No worries though, picked them up at the local thrift for $4.

07/18/09 I Love the $1 Store

So this weekend we celebrated Jordan's Birthday. I wanted to plan a friend Birthday Party for him on Saturday because his Mom called dibs on Sunday for family festivities. After all was said and done my Saturday night party was a success. I had a pleased Birthday Boy, and that's what mattered. The group of us first met for Pizza at Jon and Bre's gorgeous town home. After pizza we headed up to Olympus Lanes for a game of bowling and some cake. Fun night to say the least! Oh and ps big thanks to Mom and Sister, you guys are brilliant, the $1 store saved my life and my wallet. Jealous of our super cool Bowling Party Hats...They were only a buck!
